Is it true that whatever happens, happens for the best?
In either way, If you get success through something or even if you have lost. Both happens for the best.
It just depends on you to react to the situation. One has to be optimistic to face any kind of situations and challenges in the life.
- If something good happens, you should be grateful to it and continue your same efforts towards your work and gain success again and again.
- If something bad has happened, then you have to know the reason behind it and move on in your life by correcting the mistakes you have done and should never repeat it again. Just remember that it's just not our turn, Wait for yours.
So whatever situations come into your life just face it and don't worry about the result. Because either positive or negative results both are helpful to you to develop yourself.
Just have faith in yourself, be patient and wait for your chance.
Everything happens for a reason and it is the best.
I use this phrase quite frequently while consoling my friends over some bad luck and stuff.
Although I know that it has no logical basis whatsoever, it helps one to move on fast enough to face the next wave of opportunities and problems.
If a person keeps a negative/pessimistic attitude over his misfortunes, he's bound to waste his time sulking and getting depressed. Instead, if he had a little optimism about the future, he could have the heart to stand up to next challenges that he might face instead if simply giving up.
Also, I use it only when I am convinced enough that the circumstances leading to the misfortune were beyond one's control
eg:-Delaying of a flight, Death/genocide of innocent civilians in a crossfire, loss of a personal fortune in accidents etc.
The whole freaking universe is an extremely big entity, where our puny problems matter next to nothing. Death, accidents, bad luck are bound to happen. Its all a game of probabilities. What you gonna do about it?
Hence just to deal with the current shit and to move on to meet the oncoming challenges head-on, the above phrase can be successfully used sparingly.

Take a moment to remember your toughest time and another moment to figure out why it was good. I'm absolutely sure, you'll realize
"whatever happens happens for the best"
Jo Hota hai, ache ke liye hota hai.")
I can either be optimistic with the confidence this new-school infused in me and say, “whatever happens, happens for the best”
or
I can be pessimistic with imaginary possibilities about the roads not taken - choices not made.
In life, with progressive age, you might have regressive thoughts. You will always be fickle-minded about —
a job you opted to quit.
a relation you ended.
a dream you gave-up on.
a sacrifice you made.
a calamity which struck.
a party you did not attend.
a phone-call you ignored.
a cigarette you did not share.
a “Hi” you did not spare.
After every action, there will be two thoughts, one which is resulting in your state of existence at this point and other about the roads-not-taken.
Roads-not-taken will always keep you confused and add to your current agonies with an “If I….” It is pessimistic, it will always be because that world will always be perfect — coz it is imaginary. Just take this part out of life and believe, whatever decisions you ever took were the best-ones at that point of your life and “whatever happens, happens for the best..”
Read the bold part again. This time a little slower.
Clear! Crystal clear.
A life without a regret.
