Get rid of boredom.


To overcome severe boredom, you have to understand the cause of boredom.
Boredom is a negative emotion and negative emotions are always based on negative thought(s). With no exception.
Negative thoughts create always negative emotions and feel bad and sad.
Positive thoughts create always positive emotions and feel good and great.
Take a pen and paper and ask yourself below question and brainstorm all answers in short sentences you can find. You force the conscious and subconscious thoughts to come to the surface.
Negative thoughts. I feel really bored because;
  1. I don’t know what to do
  2. Time is passing so slowly
  3. There are no people, I am alone and bored.
  4. I don’t feel like doing this, nor that, I am bored.
  5. etc.
Just to give you a few examples, when you are really bored you can fill a page with negative thoughts.
Now let us play a game. Let us find the opposite positive thoughts of being bored. We imagine yourself a super hyperactive positive optimist that always has something to do, what will he change your thoughts into? Don’t care if it is true or not. Just fulfill the exercise.
Positive thoughts;
  1. I will focus on what I can do, I take a pen and paper and start what options I have. Reading a book, browsing special topics on the Internet, walking in Nature, get a cup of coffee in the little bookshop around the corner, call my friends, call my parents, plan my future, imagine future
  2. Time is going fast
  3. I am alone and enjoying my time, there are so many things I can do. I wish I had more time.
  4. I always find something to do, even to maintain the house or to order my stuff. I see everything as a game, it makes it fun and gives myself points. Then I smile at those crazy ideas.
  5. I will later when I have time, write down some new ideas I have gotten to do for next week.
  6. etc.
Now have a look at both thoughts, the negative ones, and the positive ones. Which list only by reading it will make you happy and energetic and which one will make you feel bored and sad? Yes, logical.
It is just a matter of formulating your thoughts positive and feel good and great, to formulate them negatively and feel bad and sad. Your choice.

Last Part.
Your personality is not WHO you are, but WHAT you think.
When you don’t like your personality, change your thoughts.
First of all negative thoughts are created by looking at what you don’t have, what you cannot do, who you are not. Positive thoughts are created by looking at and focusing your attention on what you have, what you can and what you are.
When you believe the negative thoughts and want to shift your attention and thoughts to believe the positive thoughts what can you do? Simple.
First of all, don’t talk, think, or communicate again about your negative thoughts, they create negative emotions and feel bad and sad. Logical isn't it. When you don’t repeat the negative thoughts, the synapses in your brain that connects these negative thoughts with your belief system will disconnect. Because you don’t use them anymore. In other words, you will forget them.
Synapses connect everything you're really repetitively: read, watch, learn, talk, hear, communicate or think about words - visualized or real images - feelings - values. Just like learning a history statement. And the synapses connect it to your belief. This is the principle of learning.
When you repeat over and over again the positive thoughts and the list of positive thoughts, you will learn them by heart. Or in other words, you program your subconscious mind to remember them. The synapses will create the positive thoughts with your belief system and it will become your new personality. As simple as that.
