"Expectation's" VS "Reality"
Between our expectations in life and the reality, there is a clear cut difference. Expectations are those that we consider as possible and likely to occur. These are our beliefs, hopes, and dreams for the future. People can have numerous expectations concerning their lives, such as to educate one’s self, to be employed in a prestigious organization, to lead a beautiful life with a family, etc. The reality, on the other hand, is the state of things as they are. Reality includes everything around us, those that can be seen and those that cannot be seen. It includes our views, attitudes, life, those who surround us and almost every aspect. This highlights that expectations and reality are two different states.
Expectations are like:- Life would be easy when we get mature, it would be easy to make decisions on your own or when we know how to deal with the problems etc.
But in reality:- Maturity sucks actually. And the fact is whatever decisions we take we get responsible for that. Which is least expected in childhood.
It's funny though it's hard.
You expect your friend to always help you but the reality is that sometimes he/she won't be there for you.
You expect your children should obey everything but the reality is that they do not obey each and everything.
You expect forgiveness instead of asking forgiveness but on the other friend, your friend expects the same and the reality is that both get hurt by each other.
You expect always that things must happen as you wish but the reality is that nothing is in your hands.
You expect to win always but the reality is that nothing is constant in life. You have to fail in order to learn.
You get attached with someone and also expect same but the reality is that you are only a choice for that person even when that person means the world to you.
What to expect is in our hands and so do not expect much from anyone because after all, they are not God who can fulfill your every expectation.
Better is to accept reality and expect nothing or else to expect everything and then experience reality.
