The Search For "Happiness"

Image
Happiness is kind of feeling which we experience in different shapes. So, it's not about when you should but the feeling is an automatic response of certain emotions. You cannot resist it.  Being happy is simply a sense of satisfaction, the pleasant feeling that one gets when a pleasant event occurs. This event could be anything, spending time with loved ones, completing a work or project successfully, winning at a competition or at sports,. mostly the process remains in your thoughts.   the art is to keep your mind clear and enjoy the moment When we are truly happy, we do not think. We simply enjoy the moment  ...  Perhaps there lies the secret of True Happiness ... embrace the moment fully. Be open to whatever it brings. My own experience brought out another aspect of Happiness ..... Most of the time I am happy. I've great acceptance of whatever comes around. I always see the good in anything and be happy. I know it's for my best interest. I don't usually ...

How do we understand if "He" or "She" is the one?

Image
The term of the ‘one’ is simply an overused and over-romanticized writing trope used fairly liberally in myths, stories, movies, religions, etc, meant to convey a major plot point to fairly simple-minded people or people who want to be entertained with puffy fluff, like most romantic comedies. The problem is when people actually start thinking it is real. What you do feel is likely a strong physical/emotional attraction to someone, likely more than you have with people previously, so by comparison, they seem special. Who is to say that you won’t date them? That later the relationship will fail because you find out he/she is crazy and in 6 months you will meet someone new who you feel an even stronger   physical/emotional attraction and then he/she will seem “ special. ” Let’s say that relationship does not work out because he/she gets hit by an Uber driver while saving puppies from a fire, true, you will be sad but who is to say that in 5 years you will not just...

"Expectation's" VS "Reality"

Image
Between our expectations in life and the reality, there is a clear cut difference. Expectations are those that we consider as possible and likely to occur. These are our beliefs, hopes, and dreams for the future. People can have numerous expectations concerning their lives, such as to educate one’s self, to be employed in a prestigious organization, to lead a beautiful life with a family, etc. The reality, on the other hand, is the state of things as they are. Reality includes everything around us, those that can be seen and those that cannot be seen. It includes our views, attitudes, life, those who surround us and almost every aspect. This highlights that expectations and reality are two different states.  Expectations are like:- Life would be easy when we get mature, it would be easy to make decisions on your own or when we know how to deal with the problems etc. But in reality:- Maturity sucks actually. And the fact is whatever decisions we take we get responsible for t...

Why Do People Ignore?

Image
Maybe because of some preconceived ideas about that person. This may be the reason why some people ignore others as they may have formed an opinion about you without actually knowing you. This is a question I asked myself several times in the past. Someone could ignore you for many reasons, a few being: Jealousy Hate Dislike A strong feeling of superiority in relation to you A realization that you can't provide them something material or not (love, money, knowledge etc.) A relative indifference, they must consider that they don't need/want your friendship/love. I think you are available for the people whenever they need them , so eventually , they start taking you for granted and start ignoring you. People do not realize until you stop doing the things. I used to feel bad because of such behavior especially when I was nice to them, but I have decided that I would not let these people make me feel bad anymore and that's why I connected with other people who truly ...

Is it true that whatever happens, happens for the best?

Image
In either way, If you get success through something or even if you have lost. Both happens for the best. It just  depends on you  to react to the situation. One has to be optimistic to face any kind of situations and challenges in the life. If something good happens, you should be grateful to it and continue your same efforts towards your work and gain success again and again. If something bad has happened, then you have to know the reason behind it and move on in your life by correcting the mistakes you have done and should never repeat it again. Just remember that it's just not our turn, Wait for yours. So whatever situations come into your life just face it and don't worry about the result. Because either positive or negative results both are helpful to you to develop yourself. Just have faith in yourself, be patient and wait for your chance. Benefits of daydreaming?

Image
Daydreaming is for me one of the best ways of spending the 'day'.  In my life there has been a constant battle between the  time spent while taking a dump  and the  time spent daydreaming,  to acquire the top spot for the best idea producing place! However, I believe the benefits if daydreaming is as follows: Gives you time to ruminate and uncomplicate complicate issues. Wakens the dead philosopher inside you. Revamps your creativity and you find yourself overflowing with ideas you could have never come up with! Makes you immune to the nonsensical happenings in the background.   Daydreaming has a bad reputation; Many children and adults to are being labeled as ADD or unfocused when, in fact, there are many benefits to getting lost in thought! We spend an estimated third to half of our lives daydreaming! Research shows imagination is crucial to children’s’ cognitive development and enhances wellness, happiness, and creativity, and, if harne...

Is It Good / Bad Thing To Be Ambitious?

Image
Ambition is a fine thing; it’s what drives us to complete tasks, excel at things and even to try new endeavors. But if you feel that depression will result if you don’t succeed, then ambition is controlling you. You should love yourself and be loved, whether you succeed or fail.  If you’re sincerely ambitious about  learning  first, that’ll help you more. The measurement of success should not be what others want or what you think they do. It should come from reflection, from the investigation into what you want, an evaluation of what skills and talents you have, and ultimately, what YOU want, not anyone else. As said in Sanskrit  ‘Ati Sarvatra Varjayet’ ( Excess of anything is bad).  In the same breath, being over ambitious will take a toll upon your mental peace and social life. Being over ambitious will make you blind to the common and simple joys of life. Remember that the ultimate goal of life is to  be happy.  Being ‘over’ ambitious wil...

How can you identify that someone is your best friend?

Image
Well,  it is too much difficult to find a best friend. But a true friend always supports when you do wrong or right. Here are my few advice that helps to find your best friend : 1. They don’t make you feel like a horrible person for passing on invitations because you have to do things important to your education, career or the betterment of yourself in general. Sketchy is the  friend  who legitimately bashes you for choosing work over play. 2. You feel comfortable enough at their place to raid the refrigerator or go number two in their bathroom – probably in that order. 3. You’ve discussed and agreed that hypothetically if one of you were to get bit by a zombie, you’d hold off on killing each other until you actually began turning into a member of the walking dead. (Also, if they aren’t 100% certain you’re dead, they’ll hold off on hooking up with your spouse.) 4. They’ve answered a call you made between the hours of 2-6am groggy and disoriented but prepared to...
